Our investment funds practice advises UK and international regulated and unregulated funds and their sponsors, managers and investors on all aspects of fund formation, promotion and investment.

Our funds team comprises seven partners and around 20 lawyers in total and draws upon wider expertise from across the whole firm including the taxation, corporate and banking and finance groups. It is recognised as having one of the leading fund practices in the UK particularly in the areas of private equity and real estate.

The funds team acts on a regular basis for a number of the UK's largest asset managers and financial institutions as well as some of the most innovative asset managers.

The team is at the forefront of funds development evidenced by the fact we:

• have advised on the set up of property funds having an aggregate value in excess of £5 billion;
• are the leading UK firm advising on property NURSs; and
• are a leading adviser to the Investment Trust/VCT sector.
