Our Private Equity team provides legal and tax advice on all forms of private equity transactions. We act for financial institutions, management teams and investee companies.

We advise:

• on structuring and effecting all types of private equity and venture capital transactions;
• lenders and borrowers on all types of debt financing including senior, mezzanine and asset based lending;
• on restructuring and forming private equity, venture capital and property funds;
• on corporate and business acquisitions and disposals; and
• on debt and equity restructurings and refinancings.

In the UK we have a team of 8 partners and 17 solicitors focusing on private equity.

We focus on the mid market – transactions between £5m-100m – though of course we work on transactions with values far exceeding £100m.
