Our Private Equity team provides legal and tax advice on a full range of private equity transactions, acting for leading financial institutions, private equity investors, management teams and investee companies. 

We have a team of 8 partners and 20 lawyers focusing on private equity. Our core practice focuses on mid-market transactions between £5m and 200m, however we are frequently involved in transactions exceeding £200m. 

We advise:

• on structuring and effecting all types of private equity and venture capital transactions;
• lenders and borrowers on all types of debt financing including senior, mezzanine and asset based lending;
• on restructuring and forming private equity, venture capital and property funds;
• on corporate and business acquisitions and disposals; and
• on debt and equity restructurings and refinancings.
