An early determination of a dispute at low cost and in a way that maximises the potential of maintaining business relationships is paramount.

ADR in its various forms, such as mediation, expert determination or early neutral evaluation, provides the opportunity to achieve that.

Several of our team are accredited mediators. In addition we are regularly instructed by clients in mediations and other forms of ADR. We have experience of mediations using CEDR and CORE (in Scotland). As a firm we actively promote ADR to our clients, who have found it to be an excellent mechanism for determining disputes, giving the parties increased control over outcomes, and providing resolution in a way that the traditional court structure does not always permit.
