At D&W, we aim to ensure that all pages of our website meet the World Wide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative Guidelines from Priority 1 through to Priority 2.

 

Features to enhance Accessibility 

  • All text should be re-sizable using your browser's text re-size option
  • Cascading Style Sheets are used
  • HTML heading elements have been used to represent the structure of a page, supporting assistive technologies that allow page navigation from heading to heading
  • All hyperlinks should make sense when read out of context
  • All images that convey important information have been given appropriate alternative text
  • No important information is conveyed exclusively using colour
  • This site has been tested to ensure it is accessible in a range of modern browsers

How to Use Access Keys:

The use of access keys varies depending which browser software and platform you are using.

 

If you use Internet Explorer

Press and hold the ‘Alt’ key

Press the required letter

Release the keys and press the ‘Enter’ key

 

If you use Netscape Navigator

Press and hold the ‘Alt’ key

Press the required letter

 

If you are using a Mac

Substitute the ‘Ctrl’ key for the ‘Alt’ key

 

Access Keys are not supported by the following browsers:

Internet Explorer 4.5 for Mac

Netscape versions earlier than version 6
