Life before D&W:

The usual school, university thing (Kirkcaldy HS, Dundee University) plus the usual mix of summer jobs (bar work, record shop, labourer etc etc.). I trained at D&W and have been here ever since so I suppose I should say I sometimes wonder if there was life before…

Favourite thing(s) about working at D&W:

• Close proximity of the Edinburgh office to Starbucks
• Great team spirit in a vibrant environment
• Opportunities to work with exciting clients

Aspirations - in and out of the office:

In the Office

• Understand the new IT system
• Help D&W's London office to even greater things over the next few years

Out of the office

• Play for Hearts before my legs go!

Don't forget that the clients are the most important people in a lawyer's job - without them, you wouldn't have a job!

Most memorable occasion at D&W:

Working through the night to sign a massive deal for a client and then going straight to hear the Chief Executive telling the market about the deal! That and a dodgy 70's night!!
