Standards
At Dundas & Wilson, users come first. Our main purpose
in producing this website is to communicate, so accessibility
has been a priority. Our designers, McKinstrie Wilde, have
built this site to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium
(W3C) Document Object Model and have followed W3C Web Accessibility
Guidelines. The World Wide Web Consortium was created in October
1994 to lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing
common protocols that promote its evolution and ensure its
interoperability.
What standards does this website meet for accessibility?

these standards at the WWW consortium website.

Site map
The Site Map can be accessed directly from the Quick Links
panel at the base of each page on the site. The site map
lists all relevant navigation for the whole site. Use the
site map if you would like to find out more about how the
web site is structured.
Text Size
Some users might find the site easier to read by increasing
the size at which text is displayed. You can adjust your
browser's settings to increase and decrease the size of your
text.
Microsoft Internet Explorer
In the menu that runs across the top of the page, click on
View, then from the drop down list that appears select Text
Size. A further drop down menu will appear to the side, from
which you can choose a size to suit your preferences.
Netscape Navigator / Mozilla / Opera
Depending on which version of Netscape you are using, you can
change the size of the text by clicking on View and then
selecting either the Text Zoom
or Zoom option, then select
either a percentage value or use Smaller/Larger.
Browsers
The pages within this web site have been tested on the latest
versions of the following browsers;
*please note that on the Home page, the animated flash navigation may not function correctly with these Mac browsers. If you experience problems, use the quicklinks navigation at the base of the page to enter the site. If you are using a Mac we would suggest you use an alternate browser such as Netscape, Safari or Mozilla as Microsoft no longer support IE browsers on Macs and IE5 is now over 4 years old.
Pages within this web site may not display as intended in
older browsers such as Netscape (versions 4). In this case
Dundas & Wilson suggest you upgrade your browser to the
latest version using the appropriate links above.
Images
All content images used in this site include descriptive alt
and title attributes. Purely decorative graphics include
null alt attributes.
Visual Design
This site uses tables for visual layout and Cascading Style
Sheets for content styling. Wherever possible all information
is readable and understood if linearised. If your browser
or browsing device does not support stylesheets at all, the
content of each page is still readable.
Adobe Acrobat
A number of documents on the site are provided in Adobe Acrobat
(PDF) format. To view them, you will require a copy of Adobe
Acrobat Reader. If you do not already have a copy, you can
get Acrobat
Reader for free from the Adobe website by following this
link, or read advice on accessibility
of Acrobat documents for disabled users. Please note
that some PDF files may take some time to download.
Search
All of our pages contain the facility to do a simple word search
of all our content. Simply put the text you are searching
for in the text box which appears at the top right of each
page, and then click on the Go button, which is to the right
of the text box.
JavaScript
In some instances this site uses JavaScript for dynamic content. If your browser does not support JavaScript, the site will still function and we have provided, where possible, 'Text Only' versions for this type of content.
