The Group carried out a legal audit of the Environmental Impact Assessment for the Donna Nook Habitat Site. The project is
to provide new areas for habitat of European importance to compensate for Natura 2000 sites which are being adversely affected
by climate change. The existing habitat sites are deteriorating due to “coastal squeeze” from rising sea levels interacting
with flood defences. The Donna Nook project is an integral part of the Environment Agency’s £300M, 50 yr Humber Estuary Shoreline
Management Plan.
