Dundas & Wilson has today confirmed that Donald Shaw will be continuing as Managing Partner across the three UK offices in London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, following a ballot of the firm’s partnership.
From May 1 2010, Donald will take sole charge of the role he currently shares with Alan Campbell, who has decided to return to a senior client-facing role.
Alan will continue to provide ongoing support to Donald along with the rest of the firm’s management team, as the firm continues to develop its strategy for growing its UK practice.
D&W chairman David Hardie said: “Donald’s reappointment shows the regard in which he is held by D&W’s partners. It also allows him to continue building on what he and Alan have achieved over the last four years.
”A lot has changed in the professional services market during that time but our ambition to grow our expertise and service offering across the UK is unwavering.
“Donald is a highly experienced practitioner and, having managed the business with Alan through both good and bad market conditions, has shown that he has the skills to navigate D&W into the best possible position in an evolving professional services market.”
