Date:
06 Oct 2011

Dundas & Wilson has been ''highly commended'' in the Financial Times' Innovative Lawyers 2011 report, published on October 6 2011.

The firm's Legal Project Management Tool was ranked in the ''Client Service'' category alongside systems and initiatives designed by Allen & Overy, Linklaters, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Simmons & Simmons.

Scoring highly for ''originality'', ''rationale'' and ''impact'', the Legal Project Management Tool received the following mention: ''Clients praised the intuitive interface for increasing flexibility and usability compared with similar products.''

Now in its sixth year, the Innovative Lawyers report is one of the top legal rankings in Europe, and the accompanying awards are widely regarded as the best researched in the market.  The report represents a unique analysis of the legal industry and highlights the latest thinking in areas such as corporate and financial law, litigation and legal business management.

The Financial Times and specialist legal research company, RSG Consulting, spent six months preparing the report after conducting more than 500 in-depth interviews.

Allan Wernham, Head of Operational Excellence, comments:

''This is a fantastic accolade for the firm - the fact that we have been highly commended for client service shows that as a firm Dundas & Wilson can innovate alongside some of the biggest names in the industry.''
