Ross is a Partner in our Banking and Financial Services Department. Acting mainly for banks and financial institutions, he has particular expertise in investment funds finance, reserves based lending, acquisition finance and derivatives. Ross is qualified as a Solicitor in England and Wales and a Solicitor in Scotland and can therefore advise on English law and Scots law.

Acted for Avio S.p.A. (an Italian aerospace company owned by Cinven and Finmeccanica) in connection with the closing-out of an “out of the money” interest rate swap position with Lehman Brothers International (Europe) (in administration).

Acted for a major UK bank in relation to the provision of €1.5bn Warehouse Facilities to a private equity investment fund established by a major European private equity house.

Acted for Royal Bank of Scotland as MLA in respect of the restructuring of £35mn Reserves Based Lending facilities provided by a syndicate of lenders (RBS, NAB and KBC) to Bridge North Sea Ltd for the development of a gas field in the North Sea.
