What did you do before life at Dundas & Wilson?
Immediately before joining Dundas & Wilson as a trainee, I was a sailing instructor in the South of France. It was a bit of a shock to the system upgrading my flip flops to 4 inch stilettos, but I haven't looked back since!
What were your first impressions of Dundas & Wilson?
I've been here for 7 years now so my recollection of my first impressions have faded a little. Although Dundas & Wilson has a strong corporate image and is ambitious about everything it does, it is ultimately a friendly and welcoming place.
What are your favourite thing(s) about working for Dundas & Wilson?
The opportunity to work on high profile deals with some of the best solicitors in their field
Having boardrooms which overlook Edinburgh Castle
The team I work with - I've made some long term friends here and it's fantastic to be able to get on with your work colleagues socially. We can spend a lot of time together at work so it's important to be able to get along.
What are your aspirations both in and out of Dundas & Wilson?

What are the 3 best pieces of advice you have been given that you would pass on to others?
When working on projects, meetings can be long and food can be scarce, so when food is on offer always take it. You never
know when you'll eat again!
One man's freedom fighter is another man's terrorist. When coming to negotiations, everyone has their own agenda so it's essential
to understand the other side's perspective.
What's your most memorable occasion at Dundas & Wilson?
Property and Litigation Christmas party when I was a second year trainee and asked to perform in the trainee Christmas panto - I was Cilla Black. Say no more.
Being sent to the Cayman Islands at the beginning of my last seat (which was the beginning of my time in projects) to deliver documents. Let's just say, I haven't been anywhere as glamorous since.
