HR Executive, London
What did you do before life at Dundas & Wilson?
I have had some wonderful opportunities since I moved to London from Russia eight years ago. I have been working in the City ever since, first in a recruitment agency and then for an American law firm for 5 years.
What were your first impressions of Dundas & Wilson?
I was very impressed with how down-to-earth people are at all levels and how humble they can be despite obvious successes. I found my new colleagues very welcoming and just a lot of fun. It is great to be part of a dynamic and multi cultural team.
What is/are your favourite thing(s) about working for Dundas & Wilson?
I love it that one of our firm values is to tell it straight. Russian people traditionally have a ‘tell it like it is’ attitude.
What are your aspirations both in and out of Dundas & Wilson?
I am so excited about the growth of the firm and about being part of a modern and forward thinking establishment. I have a two year old son who is growing up so fast, so I am happy to see the world again new through his eyes.
What are the 3 best pieces of advice you have been given that you would pass on to others?
I have been fortunate to have some great mentors in my life, at university and now in my career. In their own way they taught me to count my blessings. This helps me stay positive in all situations and be a well-balanced person.
What's your most memorable occasion at Dundas & Wilson?
Even though I have been here for just a few months, there are already so many to choose from. I guess being flown to Edinburgh for my second interview and going to our recent Annual Ball stand out.
